How to take Bach flowers

If you have doubts about how to take Bach’s flower remedies for the first time, I’m going to tell you how to do so. To start off, and always according to Edward Bach himself, place 5 drops from the bottle containing the flower you want to use (which is a solution made of pure flower essence in a mixture with mineral water and a small amount of brandy, used as a preservative), in a bottle with a 30 mL dropper. If you need to use more than one remedy, place 5 drops of the other remedy in the bottle, and fill the rest of the bottle with mineral water.
You should not use more than 5 different flowers in any one treatment. Rather, prioritize which negative emotional states you should solve first, in order to set yourself straight. Then change the flowers as you harmonize these emotional states. When continuing the treatment, stop taking the flowers that you no longer need, and/or add other new ones to solve other imbalances that may have appeared. Bach informally put this treatment method together through a process of “removing the layers of an onion”. This means that once you have eliminated the outermost layer, you must apply another remedy to remove the following layer.
Dosage for Bach Flowers
In the writings that Bach left, he recommended that the first treatment an individual takes be 5 drops of the preparation each hour, until going to sleep. This will “impregnate” the body with the flower’s vibration, so as to promote its efficacy.
On the second day, the dosage will consist of 5 drops, 5 times a day (add the 5 drops by using a dropper, without touching the tip of it); in the morning, at night, and another 3 times a day, spaced out at least 30 minutes after meals.
