If your hair looks dry, mistreated, or on the other hand, if you have an oily scalp and you can’t control it, there are several kitchen ingredients that could help resolve these problems without needing to waste anything on costly aesthetic treatments.
Control oily hair
If you have oily hair you should avoid brushing it before going to bed because this stimulates sebaceous glands, creating more oil at night. And follow this tip to reduce the problem:
Use warm water while bathing and avoid the blow dryer. Let your hair air dry without rubbing a towel on your scalp. This also avoids stimulating the sebaceous glands.
One mistake that women make with oily hair is they don’t use conditioner because they think that this will worsen the problem. However, you need to, because it closes the flakes that shampoo opens in order to remove the oil. The key is to apply a small amount of the product to the tips of your hair and rinse well. You should also put shampoo on your finger tips in a rotating fashion, so as not to stimulate the sebaceous glands.
Natural shampoo for oily hair
Eliminate excess hair oil with this shampoo:
Use a juice extractor to squeeze one cup of juice from a green apple, then add 10 tablespoons of neutral toilet soap shavings, 1 liter of water and one tablespoon of 10% benjui dye (found in pharmacies). Mix and store in a bottle. Wait one day to use it and then apply every time you take a bath.
For dry hair
Constantly using styling tools dehydrates hair and makes it appear dry. In order to make it once again look healthy, you could take vitamin E supplements, two capsules a day. This will revitalize your hair.
You could also restore your hair with a mint lotion.

Boil two cups of mineral water with 1/2 cup of fresh mint leaves for 3 minutes.
Let it coll and add 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar.
Store the product in a container and apply to your hair after shampooing. Wait two minutes and then rinse.
Give your hair shine
There are a lot of home ingredients that you could use to make dry hair look shiny. Chocolate is one of those ingredients which will undoubtedly bring you great results.

Get a radiant head of hair by applying this nourishing mask:
Wash your hair and remove the excess water with a towel. Immediately melt 3 tablespoon of cocoa butter and rub it on your hair. Heat with a blow dryer and immediately cover with a shower cap to trap the heat. After one hour, rinse with warm water and lastly, rinse with cold water so it looks shinier. Do this twice a month and you will notice results.
If you have brown hair it will look brighter and more beautiful with a mask that also smells good. Do this with the following:
1 tablespoon of powdered cocoa
3 tablespoons of shampoo
Mix the ingredients and wash your hair without touching your scalp too much. Rinse well with warm water. Then apply your conditioner.
Use this once a week, or just once every 15 days if you have dry hair.
You could also nourish your dry hair with the following mask:
In a bowl, mix once egg, 1 1/2 tablespoons of almond oil and blend well until forming a creamy mixture. Then add one teaspoon of lemon juice. Apply the mixture to your hair and let set for one hour. Then rinse with warm water.
