Bad breath, or halitosis, can be caused by several things, including dental, stomach or digestive problems, or it could even come from constipation. Regardless of the cause, the consequences are generally the same: low self-esteem, sadness, depression, and people can even become less communicative.
If you’re suffering from these symptoms, the first thing you need to do is to detect its origin. Remember, halitosis indicates that something is functioning poorly inside the body.
If it sin’t caused by cavities or poor dental hygiene, it could be caused by an infection in the throat, the tonsils, the larynx or pharynx, or even liver damage.

The goods news, however, is that vitamin C is a great ally for fighting and preventing bad breath. How should you take it? You can take vitamin C in the form of juice, as this element is present in oranges, lemons, mandarins, camu camu, and more.
Consume them three times a week, and drink a lot of water.
One example for this type of juice is to make an orange and spinach juice. Here’s how to make it:
Ingredients

- 1 handful of spinach
Wash, peel and cut the half apple into pieces. Then wash your orange and cut it in half. Squeeze the juice out. Lastly, wash and dice your spinach. Place all the ingredients in a blender and process for a few moments. When it’s ready, drink. You could also add the juice from 3 lemons.
